Lazio hosts Genoa whereas the club is in a must-win situation. They want to qualify for the next champions league, but they are currently only seventh. A win would not even make them going higher, but a defeat could condemn them for good. They actually could be nicknamed ‘dr Jekyll and mr Hyde’. Two different face: one away from home, poor and weak, and one on their own ground, much better and efficient. Petkovic, the bosnian coach, has to deal with several injured players: Dias, in defense, only 3 games played but above all Lulic and Cana. Both midfielders and very important in Pekovic’s tactical plan. Luckily, the bench is quite impressive and Hernanes or Ederson can do as good as the two injured players would have done. Marchetti starts his season really well as goalkeeper, while Klose is back in attack.

Genoa is a really poor side away from home. They only managed to win one of their last five away games… in a derby, so not that far from home. They are currently thirteenth, and their main purpose is just to stay in Serie A. Not very ambitious. Gasperini is a good coach, but his team is not that great and he is not a magician. What’s more, two very important players are missing: Vrsaljko (hard to pronounce right), the Croatian defender and Lodi, the Argentinian midfielder! Both are hard to substitute for a club like Genoa. Gilardino, in attack, is their only top player. That’s not enough to beat Lazio…

Odds are around 1.60, worth a try!

Saturday is the best day to bet: a lot of choice, in every championship! After analysis of the games of the day, here are my choices:

– First, let’s travel to Spain, with the match between ‘Real Sociedad’ and ‘Osasuna’.

My choice goes to Real Sociedad with odds around 1.60.  The home side had a really bad start this season, taking only 7 points after 8 games. Now, the team goes better and won two of their last three games. Estrada a defender with 3 games played, and Granero a midfielder with 3 games played as well, are still injured but they are not that important.

Osasuna is only sixteenth with ten points. They lost 4 of their last 5 away games! They just beat Malaga miraculously. Some important players are injured: Bertran, defender, 8 games played, Sisi, midfielder, 9 games played and Armenteros, 8 games played.

Sociedad should win, if the club wants to qualify for the next champions league, they definitly need to take the trhee points.

Now, let’s travel to France, my favorite championship, and the game between Lyon and Guingamp! The home team should win this with odds around 1.80!

Hosts are only 14th, but they had to deal with several injured players. For that game, some of them are back: Gourcuff, Lopes, Danic and Briand are all fit enough to start. Koné and Dabo remain sidelined, but they are not important players. Gourcuff is a really good playmaker, he should bring a lot to his team. Danic and Briand are fast wingers, and Lopes is a good defender.

The away team is currently fifth, but this is definitly not their place. They come from the second division, and this is mainly luck! Samassa, their first goalkeeper is injured, as Pereira in defense. Yatabaré, top goalscorer is doubtful after his game during the week against Evian.

The home team is one of the best french squad, they have to win that game, because if they don’t, they would lose nearly all chances to qualify for any european competition!
